“Honestly, it’s a bit of everything…” You don’t like the angel’s insistence on getting you to accept his sky dad. “Come on, you said you weren’t going to put me under pressure. Give me some time to think. This is not an easy decision, you know?”
The yellow bird remains silent for a moment, speaking shortly after with a calmer, more understanding tone. “You’re right... forgive my impatience. I can’t expect you to convert in a single day.” He takes a deep breath of air – or whatever that black void around him is. “Still, I cannot shake off the feeling that you and Daitza have important misconceptions about Anu. Keep in mind I can answer any questions you may have, and you *should* ask them. Do not doubt to do so. That’s what I’m here for - to guide you and give you spicy lore tidbits.”
You get a mental picture of him smiling. How he can do that with a beak is beyond you. “Go, boy. Sadly, you are gimping yourself by not accepting Anu’s boon, so you must train even harder to compensate for it. There is no time to waste. Do not lose sight of your goals.”
