Sorry to leave my players hanging - I think I set a late June date for Seven Against Thebes #4, and have blown past this in an eyeblink. But fear not, long-haired Achaeans - I still dream of brazen spearpoints, the venal divines, and of the training δόρυ of Hector auguring the languid air of Priam's palace, seeking the death of our hero, Νίκων...
This past winter, a family member received some grim news about their health, and it seemed wrong to linger in the Late Bronze Age when their time seemed so short. But to our surprise, they've had a near-miraculous response to treatment, and we likely have years now, instead of only months. In addition, some personal and professional burdens have lessened somewhat again, and I've had the chance to dissect the Aeneid (and set sights on my next targets for the coming year; the Eclogues, Georgics, and the somewhat-obscure and very long Dionysiaca by Nonnus - by some accounts, the last "Homeric" epic).
All this to say - I am hoping to run again in the coming weeks! I plan to spend September preparing for SATQ#4 in the hopes of launch in mid-October. Will certainly update /qtg/ when SATQ#4 is imminent.
