One thing that took shape and that I always wanted to portray in SOME way was the inversion of the two, though: at quest's beginning, ZZ is the more feminine, more outwardly confident, more mature and seemingly the wiser -- the "big sister". As stresses piled and reached a head with the discovery of Efron's captivity, though, I deliberately started showing off ZZ's worse attributes, which aren't all that different from CZ's: impulsiveness, aggression, sexual and social insecurity, lack of tact, etcetera. I possibly went too far since some anons found her repetitively bitchy, kek. In the end, though, we got where I wanted, because we got to see the contrast to post-forge CZ, who was suddenly not just more assertive, calmer, more reasonable and more learned, but also both MORE FEMININE and TALLER. When she calms ZZ down at the beginning of this thread and hugs hr until she calms down, she has VERY LITERALLY become "the big sister" of the pair!
just something I am goofily proud of getting to plan out, since these quests pretty much NEVER end the way I expect them to
