Where else might I find the esteemed 'Commander of the Heroes' than on a battlefield?
Down south, closer to the split in the land that divides the Warren country from the old country of Siegesia that the first people there originated from, I found a skirmish going on. Well, it was already over, just the scraps were being cleaned up. I wandered through, looking at the destroyed remains of scattered Ashigaru. That's when I heard boots stomping behind and turned to see one charging me with their Yari spear.
[ASHIGARU] "HYEEEEAAAAAA-Gho-"
And just like that, his head was taken off by a black blur. I saw it travel around, clipping the heads off two more of the straggler Ashigaru.
'A bird did that?'
[LUDWYHN] "NAWT' JUST ANY BORD'!"
[MAJORDOMO] "There he is! Best boy!"
[JOCO] "I can smell him from here."
With a boastful laugh, the courageous figure of the Demigod Hero landed beside me on the grass. He raised his spear carrying arm and whistled. I saw his pet come quickly. A rather bloated raven.
[LUDWYHN] "Tis' me raven, Fœri. Raised em' meself. Tradition holds that greit' vurriors shud' raise petsa' war to fight side by side. Our world boasts these Mythic animools. You'd nawt' find em' anywhere else." He said, lifting a finger to run across the poofy neck of the creature before he looked to me with his typical smug grin; "So, what brings ya' to my presence, unicorn?"
'I'd really prefer not being called that.'
[LUDWYHN] "Suit yerself, horsey."
'Or that.'
[LUDWYHN] "Fine by me, Muna Hoof-haver."
I sighed.
'I'm bored.'
[LUDWYHN] "Yer bored."
'So I decided to see what everyone else does.'
[LUDWYHN] "Ah. I understand. After all, there's no mistakin' how unqueshtinavly more interestin' I am than erywun' else ya' know." He said with a smirk; "So, ye' come for thrill, ye' came to the right place. We Woldorians have many ways of foolin' around and havin' fun. Some, even life THREATNIN'!"
