At first, I honestly thought he was a little bland compared to his Hasbro counterpart because of the fewer paint apps for the sake of cartoon accuracy, but he still has a lot of detail where it counts, and I love the colors of his plastic as opposed to the Hasbro version, his brown and beige are just a bit richer, and his red is deeper and less cheap-looking as well. The gold paint on the rims really helps him pop in vehicle mode, too.
In my opinion, he's definitely worth it, but I openly admitted to being a TR/LG headmaster shill, so take that as you will.
