Currently building this 1/72 cannon by ACE.
There are no pegs or anything to align parts, so everything needs to be carefully fit and then kept in place carefully in order for it to not be completely warped.
Mold lines are non-existent because the offset between the mold halves is so big that if I were to correct it the piece would have like half the volume afterwards, and then you have flash like in the picture, plus the manual is not much more than a glorified exploded-view diagram; and I noticed that it's actually missing a label for a piece that just appears in the next step.
If it weren't so miserable to assemble I would probably try to make some scratchbuild stuff, but I just want this to be over.
And I probably won't build any 1/72 guns anymore, except maybe some AT for a diorama or so.
I am not sure if it's just above my pay grade or just not a good kit. There was no review or anything of this, so it was a shot in the dark. How are other ACE kits?
