Since I was so happy with how Cover Girl turned out I think I am going to take a whack at doing a custom build of Shooter. She's not as rare as modern Cover Girl but $85 + shipping is way too rich for my blood. This one should be easier and less expensive since most of the parts are coming from Marauder. It would have been a bit cheaper if I didn't insist on getting a chest rig from eBay. I did score a loose ROC Snake Eyes for only $5 though, which will be a great donor for the boots.
My basic philosophy here is that the official Shooter figure looks like she's wearing some kind of night ops infiltration uniform (that was the theme of the 3 pack she was sold in), and I want to go with a more "field" look for her. So green camo pants and short sleeves. The rifle I want from Marauder is modular kind of like the official one but there's no case for it, so as an alternate accessory gimmick I got some military green netting that I'm going to cut a poncho out of. It'll make for some fun styling options or it can get draped over her while she's in position to shoot. Maybe I'll attach some wire to it for posing?
