>>9118036>they handle them all badly with shitty reused bucks clad in awful overscale clothYep, everyone knows oversized texture being a problem with scaled clothing.
Difference between you fanboys in this thread and everyone else is that we admit that it is. No deflection because we're not deranged and butthurt over someone noticing facts, like reusing the same molds and the line's fall from its highpoint in the early 2010s, when they were able to provide a lot of variety and doing it well.
Also, you really don't know anything about higher end dolls; they're high priced because everything needs to be hand tailored. It's false equivocation to compare it to your regular action figures and a doll. Comparing dolls to themselves, the difference in quality of materials and stitching is a huge gap with modern takes of Mego. And even these modern takes of Mego figures are huge step up compared to retro Mego figures, and the price also reflects that step up.
It's almost like the prices coincide with the quality.
>polystone (which has no place on a poseable figure).Yeah, i remember you when you bitched about this, because you also complained how this raises the costs. Why are you so mad that they're trying to do different things to emulate the characters better? It's a gimmick without question, but what they charge is in line with those materials and that level of quality.
BTW, you the same guy as
>>9113939, where you bitched about exclusives (made in smaller quantities, thus raising prices) being costlier, bitched about paying what modern shipping costs, and bitched that BBTS was somehow more expensive despite charging MSRP?
Because this bitching that everything is too expensive is quite a remarkable and expected trend, given your history.
