>>9394528It's posing is pretty great, despite some potentially limiting options like the single elbow it can easily two hand the axe or interlace fingers over the swords in multiple arm heights and stances. While I'd love some ultra modern super posable figure there's no denying they've hit a much better sweet spot between maintaining the art's aesthetic and still having a very posable figure with tons of options and character.
The figure itself is gorgeous, every bit of him is looks great and the best part is that none of those should ever be in danger of deteriorating like many of mezcos offerings with rubberized bits, faux leather outfits, or that vinyl esque paint they use on lots of the superheros that is in danger of creasing and cracking with age. The chainmail is next level gorgeous as well.
I have had at one time or about 20 mezcos since the launch of this line including one of the first TDKRs and while I love the line I'm often critical of it- a lot of figures have a variety of finicky issues that no matter how awesome the figure is they bring them down a couple of notches- from accessories that can't be properly held with the included hands, tiny bits that easily fall off, outfits that greatly restrict movement, etc.
This guy has no issues and does everything right. My only, and I mean my only complaint, is that he only comes with 2 of the hooks to attach some of his accessories to his belt and back strap, and there should really be 3-5.
