I grew out of these sort of chilidish gimmicks in the 90s when i became a teen.
Maybe if they actually painted it, it wouldn't look so damn chintzy. McFarlane did some clear plastic Spawn figures and you wouldn't even know it until you held it next to a light, which actually surprised me and looks cool as fuck.
... but that paint still wouldn't change the fact that Crystall Ball is still the same middle aged man with an outdated style, despite now using edgy eye shadow and a sleeveless trenchcoat.
