Your best bet for finding rare parts for a deal is to get them from boomers that are selling off their kids' collections. You can get lucky sometimes on ebay/mercary/offer up sometimes (an anon mentioned getting a gold Kraahkan for 8 bucks a few generals ago. I also managed to grab a collection of Kaukaus that had every color, barring orange and misprints for 20 bucks), but most people on those sites will know what they're worth, or will think they have some holy grail and want way too much for what they have.
