>>7005136Nah - people who are into Disney Star Wars are coming at it from all sorts of different directions, from the legacy fans who just straight-up don't have the same problems with the new films that other old fans do, to kids for whom this is the first Star Wars stuff they've ever really come into contact with, to folks in between who may've just grown up with the prequels and The Clone Wars who naturally have a broader acceptance of what is/isn't Star Wars, to the legions of casual Star Wars fans out there who outnumber ALL of us and don't engage in any of these stupid screaming matches online.
It's this subsect of hardcore Star Wars fans who are behaving *exactly* like religious extremists by launching jihads against everyone else for not adhering to their psychopathically-narrow definition of what being a "true" fan is, and that right there is the very definition of poisonous zealotry.
