Bandai has the Figure-rise Standard line, and not only getting better at anime girl kits but seem to be interested in making more and more (GGL, 30MS).
We got one model kit statue of Asuka from Bandai, but I can see once they're confident with their sculpting they might do articulated kits too. 30MS is basically a plugsuit. If they think it's worth the licensing fee over their original stuff.
