I think it's reasonable to expect that a figure marketed as a high-quality adult collectable will at least meet the bare minimum standard of "paint not flaking off in large chunks." Shit, even Marvel Legends can do that, and those are shitty as fuck.
And I could well turn your question around on you, I think you're straight-up trolling. Who else would look at a $52 2-pack and say "yeah, that giant paint flake is an issue commensurate with the price I paid." That says to me you're either trolling, or you're so far up corporate daddy's ass that you'll take any rotten scraps they throw you and beg for more.
