>>9838951>Maybe it's my mid life crisis; I just turned 41. But I am lonely, too. I was kind of a hermit pre-covid but in the past two years I've hung out with friends and family maybe half a dozen times. My girlfriend and 4chan are my only social outlets and my gf is either working or playing video games with her online friends. I sit here browsing /toy/ and /pol/ and buying shit. Posting comments that rarely get engaged withI am in a similar boat myself. just a year longer on the planet. Except I have never once been to /pol/. I used to have tons of friends in my 20s but they have pretty much all boiled away and I am down to my last friend who never picks up when I call so I stopped calling. Probably be a lot more lonely but I have a few kids and 2 are adults now so I hang out with them when they come and visit. My GF does the same thing, she works and when she gets off work she plays with video games with her online friends. If you say your GF plays ARK that would be crazy. I also play games myself, but we don't play together much anymore since she is crazy about ARK and it's pretty boring to me after we built a huge house on a map and beat some bosses.
>>9838958You might calm down your buying and appreciate the toys you have more if you take them out of the package. Smell the plastic. Put them in funny poses. Swap around the parts. I like to take pictures of my toys, you'd be surprised how much time you can kill if you set up a few scenarios to take pics of.
>>9839047I used to do overnight gm at walmart, myself.
>I have no social skills but if you every want to bullshit let me know, it's hard making friends at 41, it's like going through puberty again.I echo the sentiment to you both, i recently joined the discord in the OP so if you go there you can look me up if you fancy chatting with some one with similar interests who is a similar age. Or not ... just throwing it out there.
