In Gen 8 it feels like some of those Gigantamax designs for brand new Pokemon are intrinsically part of the overall theme of the Pokemon, as they were originally intended.
Take Orbeetle. It doesn't really got all in on the UFO motif until it's Gigantamax. Same with Alcremie not actually being a cake until it's Gigantamax form. Even though most people think of these are the UFO and Cake Pokemon.
