For me, I always really liked his toy as a kid, and I found his head to be really heroic looking compared to the cartoony Waspinator head, a toy I didn't have so I didn't realize they were the same figure. Due to the difference between them and then later having him come back as a Maximal in Beast Machines I created this version of him where he was a badass stunt pilot cool guy who ditched the Predacons and joined the Maximals during the war on earth.
This pic you can see what I mean, hes got a cool visor and smirk, doesn't feel evil to me
