A good example are the bugs from the Starship Troopers Pop Vinyl run, they technically have the Pop Vinyl aesthetic with the black eyes and over-sized head, but they barely count.
Also sometimes the very nature of the Pop vinyl justifies its existence, like having a Pop of Patrick Bateman, what is more fitting than a sociopath, obsessed with fitting in with his group to the point of being barely distinguishable from each other, while actively pursuing and extolling the virtues of, soulless consumerism and conformity?
