>Chinese mail had tracking numbers too.The way the scam works is they'll send you random garbage (usually a "free gift") with a tracking number and when you get it they expect you to file a item not received dispute (which 99% of sellers mindlessly do). At which point all they have to do is copy and paste the tracking number into eBays automated support and it will autoclose in their favor. If you contact human support to reopen it they'll tell you to ship it back for a refund, which is impossible as ebay cannot generate labels for Chinese addresses. If you leave negative feedback it doesn't matter as it will get flooded out by thousands of positive junk feedback.
The only way out of this is to file a not as described dispute, which is basically impossible for the seller to get out of, they have to prove that they shipped you the item as described in the listing (not just show a tracking #) and they are responsible for providing you a return label AND paying for the return shipping, which as mentioned earlier, since ebay doesn't support Chinese addresses its impossible and they're basically forced to refund you or sit on your funds out of spite until eBay support forcibly refunds you. I had some guy drag this shit out for 3 months until I got my money back to give you an idea of how little negative feedback or tracking numbers have an impact in this, AND this was me doing everything right.
t. have been selling and buying on ebay for nearly 2 decades, very very experienced in all their rules and scams
tl;dr stop buying Chinese shit on eBay just get it off Aliexpress retard, eBay is purely for boomer firesales and rare kits
