The DNA kit gives him some semblance of a neck by having the two halves of his new mace clip into his robot wrist in beast mode, hiding it a bit better, but it's still too stumpy and doesn't fix the fact that he can't turn his head at all in any direction (which I suppose is unavoidable for AOE Grimlock in general, given how his upper jaw has to stay in place to become his left pauldron in robot mode). It's still the best incarnation of him, even with that flaw, though.
