I mean fuck sakes that was the film start to finish, in the fist half hour they kill the old toys and the forty minutes after that (rest of the film) was just introducing new toys. No substances, no depth to the sci-fi, the "music videos" were more or less the standard plug and play formula of the time. Hell the 86 was as artistically sold out as the 07 film.

Most memorable voice acting cartoons from the 80s are thanks to him and was nothing special to TF at the time.
