Even after they had more build up to this starting with Titan's Returns doing Alpha Trion and having IDW do the legacy of the Prime post-Dark Cybertron with the Enigma and Onyx+Nexus creating the first headmasters.
Current budget conscious Hasbro won't do him. Strika or Demolishor frankly are more likely alternatives because they have tv representation.
