Bootleg Ghostbuster minifigs! I was excited to have this set of guys but as I'm writing this, the Lego set that contains all four male ghostbusters costs $92 on Amazon. This set is almost Lego quality. Some of the arms and hands are a little loose in the sockets but not enough to detach. The printing on the domed back of the proton packs is printed diagonally instead of straight (not shown), but they came with all the pieces for the proton packs.
I included closeups of the front and back of the minifigs mostly to show the printing on the torsos. In these photos, it looks like the bodies are the same color as the faces giving them a naked look (except for Winston, obviously), but in hand the colors are more distinct.
As you can see, the printing on the torsos represents the ghostbusters' gear accurately. Interestingly, the backs of the torsos appear to have original printing. For example, the names: Egon Spangler's jumpsuit has ES on the front and "Egox" on the back. Peter Venkman has PV on the front and "Petey" on the back, and Winston Zedmore has WZ on the front and "Winstod" on the back. In the case of my Ray Stantz, at least, the printing stands out because of how blurry it is, both in the faces and on the torso. You can make out RS on the front but the name on the back is completely illegible. Hopefully this is a printing error isolated to one manufacturing run, but who knows?
All things considered, I would recommend these KO ghostbusters minifigs as stand-ins for the real thing, as long as you don't look too closely at Ray. For the price, it's worth getting them if you're a fan of the classic Ghostbusters movies.
