I've heard two or three Stradivari instruments played in concerts and they were truly amazing, in the hands of capable players. Theories have been tossed around tho, down to analyzing some literal holes that worms had munched in the wood through the years.
>>8740023Mmm I'd try to find a string instruments dealer, preferably from another city, and claim I found it from a grandparents attic or something. And I'd give a fake name and contact info and keep the store door open behind me, in the case the dealer actually recognizes the instrument (unlikely but far from impossible) and makes some phone calls in the back room.
