Admittedly my expectations were not high, so they were in fact met, barely. The toymakers created a generic chassis piece with pull-back play feature and just used it with four different hulls, all easily recognizable as (mostly) late-war German (clockwise from bottom left): StuG III, Panzer V Panther, Sturmtiger, Panzer VI Tiger I. The barrels have limited elevation but for all but the Sturmtiger they will revert to their lowest point, having no means to stay up on their own. Can probably remedy this a couple of ways but a detracting issue to be sure. I'm also not sure if the Panther's silly shortened and tapered gun was intended that way or if I got a manufacturing error.
