>>7207720Yes, a rare sight. You're only showing how much rarer army builders like you are, since you're the guy who posts his custom works like with the other grey knight.
>you've never handled a Mythic Legion figure have you? Of course i have, but i also buy a couple dozen other lines. So i can compare it to a ton of other figures and know what they can do. That improved waist joint? Still doesn't compare to a lot of other lines, muchless Acid Rain's. The hips as well.
>That's pretty much exactly the same amount of parts most Legion Builders come withKinda missing the point, in that as a standard they come with more (accessories, paint, articulation, etc).
>>7207579That guy mentioned the $18 Mythic Legion figures, hence them being more poorfag and makes the lack of army building... lacking.
>>7207968I think his point was that 6" figures are too cumbersome and unwieldy to army build for. So you don't see armies or even squads like you do with 1:18 or MegaBlok sized figures.
I think the fact that Mythic Legion army building is so rare, as opposed to the lines you mentioned, is because you can't build an army like you normally would. A lot of people buy a single figure to test it out and then buy even more once they get a taste of how good it is. And from there, that army grows even larger, as they find that having 3 or 4 wasn't enough to fulfill the roles they wanted them to.
Mythic Legion's limited availablity kills that play value, because you have to wait years to get your figures.
Go look at the GI Joe or Skeleton threads and you'll see people constantly talking about how to grow their armies. Even the Star Wars thread gets talk about that
