After fiddling with them for a bit, they are growing on me. If you take Divebomb's wingpack off, his bot mode is actually pretty excellent and you can untab his waist for a very nice ab crunch. Plus then he can ride on his wings like the Green Goblin.
Rampage's main issue imo is his rear beast legs / bot feet. If only they were on a double ball joint like Divebomb's feet. I have done a little surgery to give both his front and back lower beast legs a bit more range. Also, it's a real shame his backpack can't just telescope in to be flat against his back. I think Divebomb stole a lot of the engineering budget from his teammates.
I'll probably complete the KO set because, while I prefer Warlord's individual figures, a big sturdy Predaking would be neat. And all the little improvements make me want them just enough.
