Compared to the regular Eclipse, the front part is shorter, and so is the needle.

Basically you get a side cup version with an adjustable tailpiece, a Custom Micron trigger and a crown cup (about $80 in free premium parts).

Performance-wise it is identical to the regular Eclipse because the nozzle/needle are the same.

Handling-wise I found it more comfortable to use than the regular Eclipse because of the hand being closer to the part and the unobstructed view over the top. Cleaning takes slightly longer because of the side cup taking extra time to clean.
