Got a small haul today - finally shipped my MP DK-2 Guard, Scrapper, and the DNA upgrade kit for my Dino King from my private warehouse.
For a literal who, DK-2 Guard/"Black Iron Hide" is pretty nice - I already had the Generations Selects version of him, but this one is automatically better just by not having his robot feet sticking out of his rear in van mode. His colors are nice, and he comes with a ton of accessories, most of which I'm assuming were from the original Iron Hide release. I love the little Combat Deck (even if it's not part of him like it was on the original toy), and it's neat that you can clip ALL of his accessories - even the face plate you didn't use - to it. He's also got a cardboard cutout of his 'Cybertronian' face that you can put in his windshield so you can do the whole 'headless' thing, but he actually has the same face sculpted to the red piece inside his chest, so you don't really need it.
Scrapper is pretty basic, but I'm enjoying him - the last time I had a Scrapper was around Christmas of '92, and he was smaller and yellow. Incidentally, between me and my brothers, we only ever owned Scrapper, Scavenger, and Mix Master (my parents didn't know they were a combiner and only bought the individual bots - one for each of us - instead of the box set), so I've never owned a full Devastator before. I know you guys have your nitpicks, but since this will basically be my first Devy, I'm looking forward to getting the whole set.
