Used to be that they were the best price too, but a few years back Chinese factories supposedly moved away from the 'by size' to a 'by parts-count' pricing model. Pic related, while flawed, has articulation that most 1:12 figures don't have, with hinge/swivel wrists, hinge/swivel ankles (WITH a calf-swivel if I'm remembering right), and toe bends. Imagine if the priority were still on this scale today.
