Josuke wonders what happened to Josefumi's parents, especially mother. He disappeared a long time ago, but no one searched for him. He concludes that she must have her own life and nothing to do with Josefumi. He locates and visits her with Yasuho, but she does not recognise him. Josuke has no family left in this world.
He explains how his life started at the "Wall eyes". That is his beginning, so being all alone is fine. No matter where he goes or what he does, the memories of his two previous personas never return to him fully and never will.
"I am neither Josefumi Kujo nor Yoshikage Kira."
Yasuho reveals that her Stand was in contact with the mother's phone moments ago. It is full with pictures of Josefumi. She must have loved, even if they had no contact anymore. Josuke turns around wondering if he should go back and tell her everything. We do not see what he decided to do.
Josuke and Yasuho reuinite with the Higashikata family suffering from their recent losses and they ask Josuke to choose a cake. he wonders why he should be have the right to do it.
"We're the Higashikata Family!"
Yasuho leaves them alone.
