Bay's overall vision for ROTF was shite from the beginning because of the pacing and the inclusion of Sam's college scenes. Apparently they pulled the same shit with Age of Extinction, where non IMAX showings cut out the parts where Hound, Drift and Crosshairs talk to one another in Lockdown's ship and then the Aliens-esque headcrab spit. (it just skips to them finding Optimus)
