back in the day I just made my own Commanders for various Cobra forces, with the guy with the gold helmet being the commander of the Cobra Air Force and main pilot of their flying Firebat Carrier. The others in this pic are commanders of the Arctic Squad, HISS Tank Battalion and Jungle Team respectively.
There's a lot of room for more unique named characters in Cobra ranks, it's just making troopers and vipers is more fun.
