I know they outsource some or all of the sculpting (before articulation is cut in) to some freelancers or other design studios, but I'm also wondering if they just send the factory overseas the sculpts and let their engineers/modelers figure out the articulation, because its literally like people who have never handled action figures, or simply don't care how good the final product will turn out, are design some of this articulation.
Where the hell are the people at Jazwares on the Pokemon team and why don't they art direct these better? Some of these recent choices like Mewtwo's wrists and Raikou's feet are just inexcusable. Just the absolute worst way you could have designed those joints. With small tweaks they could be perfect.
