>>9930329This is why I'm hoping McFarlane eventually learns to do anime faces right. They're one of the only companies doing tons of unique sculpts these days, even when they don't have to. Like all the skintight spandex characters they do, they could easily just use the same body over and over like Mattel or Hasbro, but they bother sculpting fresh bodies most of the time. I kind of don't know how they're affording it, but it's awesome. Even little details like lines in the suit that would be tampos on a ML get raised or recessed lines, texturing, etc.
Their Avatar figs are starting to give me a little hope too, this Sokka looks pretty dang good. Now mind you, it doesn't really look a lot like the character, but we can work on accurate likenesses later. The crucial thing is that it doesn't look BAD for once. It's a pretty well done facesculpt. One step at a time.
