Why do some doll heads get wobbly over time while others stay firm? Is this an indication that the neck joint is broken or might be breaking? I know a fix for it which involves plumber tape, but some vintage dolls are so old that I fear taking their heads off. I'd rather their heads wobble then take the risk of breaking their already brittle neck joint while trying to pop the head off.
