How sad has your life been that you think family sharing a holiday is intruding?
When my grandmother was still live, there were close to a hundred relatives going in and out of her house for the week, if not the day of the holiday.
My mom's side was closer still, with weekly gatherings. Only COVID stopped that for a while.
Family coming together is normal for us.

Also, guess what that means for birthdays? FUCK load of money. I was able to buy my own TV, consoles, vidya, and computers thanks to being so close to my extended family. That freed up my meager chore earnings to mass up my collection of toys year round. So i had a collection of ~200 GI Joes by the time i was 13 and closing to a hundred Power of the Force shit in HS. Plus my weekly comic book habit and other random shit that caught my fancy

And you never had to guess i was in my 40s, since I said my age long ago, but somehow got it wrong.

btw, not going to post any of your oversized toys, to show you understand how much space they actually take up? Just going to keep ranting about how much you hate me, because you're ashamed of your tiny collection, making your jealousy and hate for me grow even more?

It basically is.
Same with the Abrams.
Theyre way too fucking large to actually push around in a given space. Even in video games, they basically use the Abrams as a center piece, like in Call of Duty 4's Warpig multiplayer map. There's escort missions too where they emphasis its size and taking up about a quarter of the zones.
Its size is why i think the HISS just works, because the Abrams is so large and cumbersome, that it's easy to see how the HIGH SPEED SENTRY can run circles around it. The HISS doesn't have anything to kill an Abrams, but it can quickly lay down heavy fire that that'll disable its optics and tracks. Against IFVs like the Bradley? It'll definitely demolish it.

I only bought that Abrams because it was $25 and i had a bbi version at home, so i thought about giving it a brother. I completely forgot that i keep the bbi version in storage because it's too big. It's not something i can keep on display, because it would take up entire shelf.
And that's why i wanted that Russian communication/radar truck, because it can be used as a playset, holding troops, being a command vehicle, etc. It's something that i can put on a shelf that can make my figures more interesting by interacting with it.

Sounds like you're just repeating 4 Horsemen's bullshit.

Let's count all the companies how are able to produce well articulated 1:18 figures for ~$10.
Jazwares.
Wicked Cool Toys.
Spinmasters.
Mattel.
Lanard.
This is basically the entirety of the action figure toy makers in the toy aisles.
And all 4 of these mass market companies make multiple 1:18 lines. No doubt, prices will go up on these (if they havent already), just because of the Corona fuck ups these past 3 years, but that's just life.

Then there's all the ~$20 1:18 collector lines by Hiya, McFarlane, Marauder Gun Runners, Boss Fight, etc etc that are all $10-20 cheaper than the larger 1:12 and 1:10 counterparts. Apart from McFarlane (mass market toy company), it shows that even small companies are able to make a profit from selling 1:18 figures for a lot less $ than 1:12 toys.

Not going to count import companies like Takara, Megahouse, JoyToy, etc, because they're obviously ripping off their consumer fanbase.

MEH, just because nothing else exists (except they do) doesn't mean joytoy's generic mechs are worthwhile.

Dark Source's Resident Evil looking guy and 2 Acid Rain marines from BBTS.

Will be buying Red Hood and Elder Predator, along with Acid Rain's Prospector within the next week.

For Star Wars I'm getting more shore troopers and rogue one storm troopers.

I sorta want more techno vipers and shock troopers, but fuck if they're too fucking expensive now and might as well buy MGR stuff instead. Problem is finding a good recipe, hence slowly trying out MGR accessories and figures.
