Sorry for the delay, here are the omiyage I got from the Japanese shinki masters. The polaroid I took 5 times and gave them out to each individual master, keeping one of the shakier ones to myself.
Initially I got lost on my way to our meeting place, arriving a bit late, I met up with the 4, originally 2, shinki masters. The other 2 having saw our tweets to each other and asked to join.
After meeting up, we enjoyed some pretty good Katsu which was really good, especially for around 1,200 yen, and then caught the Girl und Panzer movie, which somehow has a twitter meme around it already「ガルパンはいいぞ」, Umikiri, the shinki master I originally asked and planned with for the meet wanted to treat me and Suiki, the other master who we originally planned with, lunch and the movie tickets but when Suiki was insisting on paying Umikiri back the cost of the both, I saw the chance to do so too.
During our lunch and walk to the cinema we conversed for a bit and made plans to go Akihabara for places like Mandarake and Jungle because I never actually had the chance to do so since my arrival, so they brought me around Akihabara, showing me the old parts of the town and explaining the sense behind how a town originally known for electronics turned into such a bustling weeb-hub. I found many good deals(like above) that Mandarake nor Jungle lists on their online site.
There were only pretty much the two Jungle outlets and Mandarake Complex for shinki goods so after those I asked if there was picconeemo clothes anywhere and I was brought to Little World, the shop with the small doll photography corner, which we took our first group photo at, I also purchased some clothes for my new shinki.
After walking so much we caught dinner we a nearby curry place, which was delish as well for the price and finished our trip off at the mall beside Yamada Denki which had the second Jungle outlet and another doll shop. Then they discussed and we went to a cafe, and took our second group photo there
