>>8088576Most of the toys aren't that old. Like a year old, but they're old pictures anyway.
Figures like that LotR Orc were actually "new", in that i bought it recently, to fit with other stuff i collect like my mythic Legion figures.
I take new pictures when i feel like it.
And to be frank, i haven't bought a Figuart in like a year. There's not a lot of new stuff i want. I think my last import was Hellboy... if you're counting just action figures.
I buy models and candy toys regularly. Whatever catches my eye at local shops, like these super overpriced spaceships.
They fucking cost $20 and they're as cheaply made as Galoob's Micro Machine Star Trek and Star Wars minis. Paint isn't as fine as stuff found on those Tank Museum candy toys that only cost $7-10 and they're made of "cheap" rubbery plastic, just like Micro Machines. And they're as small as Micro Machine minis too.
The Eaglemoss Star Trek line is made of a variety of plastics (clear, rubber, hard) and metal, waaay nicer paint, AND is 3x the size... for only $20. Comes with a nice quality "book" too, which used to be magazine sized, with a lot of photos and text about the ship and behind the scene talk.
Just shows how Japanese nerd toys are extremely overpriced for what they are. As I've always said, lines like Figuarts and Figma are basically like $30 toys and that matches up with the features you're getting compared to domestic figures.
>>8088420oh, so you're the same guy as that guy i linked to? Makes sense. Stay in denial, angry faggot.
