Basically Hasbro is being Hasbro and has no idea how to pose their own toys. Notice that official renders/photos never make use of ankle tilts, bicep/thigh swivels, nor attempt any sense of dynamic motion. I guess they're trying to appeal to the hordes of collectors who stick their figures into neutral poses on a shelf and never touch them again.
