You may not see it as a split, but I guarantee there are people who chat in Discord that don't check or post in the thread, and vice versa. The benefits of having two channels for the same audience to discuss the same thing are outweighed by the drawbacks. And frankly having two channels for the same audience to discuss the same thing is pretty asinine to begin with, in my honest opinion fampai. The only way I can see coexistence working out is if the Discord was used exclusively for wip critique, off-topic talk, and shitposting.
