I guess if you just have lots and lots of money to burn and don't want to fuck with figures but still want a nerdy thing to put on a shelf. It is certainly well made but i can't imagine buying one unless it's heavily stylized. That said i do love my di molto stroheim.

Statue prices have definitely gotten out of control, but that Chiaki was 12,000JPY when it was released in 2015. Now, we're paying that for some action figures. I don't think most of us who've been collecting since then or earlier imagined we'd be paying current prices for some of these imports, either, yet here we are.
