I used to collect the die-cast toys as a kid.

I remember they started out with just stickers for faces, and later got plastic molded faces

Except for Diesel who always had a metal face and the paint on his face would always chip off giving him a black nose.

At first I thought this was a joke. From the thumbnail it looked like the edge worn Thomas toys from my (and then my brothers) childhood.

Paint stripped off every edge from play.

Wtf, I had a massive collection of Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends Both Wooden Railway and Take Along.

I had virtually every engine on the main gauge and a few narrow gauge engines for both.

I have long since gotten rid of most of those toys but even as they got really worn out, they still look better than this garbage.
