sup /toy/. Should I start collecting these Atk Girls modelkits? Most of the reviews are in chinese.
Are there any other better line of moe robots that I can dive into?

Haven't tried one myself, but I've tried similar lines like Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device.

These ones should be fine. I think they might be a little more solid since all their runners are cast in ABS.

i got it from usa gundam for 20 bucks but that has passed unfortunately and they are sold out. maybe you can find it around for a good price. here is a bbts link for refference

While they are very sturdy and well made the insane amount of undergates and super tiny parts (to avoid color correction and what not) might be a filter for people that are not use to model building

If you can get them cheap they are worth it. Most kits give you enough parts to build two girls however they are really bad about forgetting a runner or giving you the wrong hair pieces, hence why should get them when on sale.

Oh yeah and I’ve gotten two turtles and a Beetle built. Avoid the beetle imo, pretty mediocre in build and most of your cost comes from runners for the swords/wings they give you twice over (8 red and 8 blue big swords/wings). Love the turtle however which your bird shares the body type with.

Probably the sort of thing for the Shinki/mecha musume thread, but yeah, they're worth it. By and large they're perfectly fine mecha musume kits. Their only regular downside is that the faceplates are found lacking compared to anything Kotobukiya or third party decal makers put out. That's not really much of a downside considering those third party decals are a thing you can fix them with though.

Goo articulation (most of the time), really nice part and color separation that's sometimes better than Koto's but at least always on par, and some nifty designs. Really can't go wrong with them outside of the faces.
