THE GOOD
>ghost Egon manipulating objects to communicate with his granddaughter is really charming
>OG Busters feel like themselves
>escalation of the plot is pretty well-done, I was legit pretty excited when the kids finally suited up and peeled out in the car
>special effects for the ghosts and especially the Terror Dogs are great
>some clever bits of world-building a plot progression
THE MEH
>only a handful of solid jokes, everything is a sensible chuckle at best
>there's a lot going on plot-wise, feels like it can't decide if it wants to be a soft-reboot, Ghostbusters 3, or something completely different
>tone is way sappier than Ghostbusters should be, but it kinda works

>camera lingers too long on what should be blink-and-you'll-miss-it easter eggs
>a bit heavy on the "heckin science is epic bro!!1!" stuff
like jesus fucking christ we get how soys filled academia is today I did NOT need to see it in this movie
>is too busy fellating the original to introduce too much new stuff (but what new stuff it does bring in is good)
