weird or bad toy distribution 2021
So what was the weirdest distribution you've seen this year. 2021 was a weird year imo, with December being the weirdest.
I went to a local TJMaxx/Marshall's like place and they had a big pile of the NBC pop cart lot for half off of msrp. At that time, the carts were already up to $20 on ebay and BBTS was doing preorders.
Another discount store had a box of walgreens exclusive GIJoe classified figures for $9 each.
All I can figure is that this stuff didn't figure into what these chains saw as their big holiday spread so they sent them on to the discount places. The NBC train was a real head scratcher though as it is a Christmas product that would have probably sold well had they given it time. Or at least, no worse than the other dumb shit pop that are out this month.
