You know what I want from gen VI?

I want a revamp of the league end game.

Fuck this E4 garbage. I want a tournament between other top tier trainers all competing for the same champion spot.

I want the league to be more like a city with souvenir stalls and crowds of fans and all sorts of news.

I want the league to feel like a big festival, not some sort of ominous challenge to become grand supreme region king guy.

I want the anime's interpretation of the league

Randomized Tournament with Teams Downloaded from other players through Wifi

An AI about 3 times more competent than Challenge mode in B2/W2

After Managing to win the Tournament then you get a chance on to Elite 4 + Champion

Elite 4 is Downloaded from Wi-Fi as well, Changed Weekly and Random depending on PWT Monotype Winners who decide to upload their teams after winning

Champion is NPC at first for Story, afterwords would be random Champion PWT Winner

All of that or either have seperate Leagues, One all NPC for the game in normal Style and this otherone which could be called Wi-Fi League or something. Worldwide or Regional would be different options.

You do realize kids have to be able to beat the game, right? PWT and Battle Subway are specifically for the tourneyfags who spend hours breeding/training Pokemon while the Elite 4 and Champion has to be challenging but easy enough to be able to be beaten by a 7 year old kid with in-game Pokemon
I think that's the main problem with the people who want a tournament. Maybe have something like the 'sample' Driftveil tournament that BW2 gave us instead of the typical E4/Champion but anything else is post-game material.

The All NPC one for the game would be the normal Elite 4/Champion System we have now, the other would be some extra optional post game deal.

Audino, I thought it was an interesting Idea.

I like the ideas in this thread, and I've wanted this for a while. The Elite Four concept has definitely gotten stale.

It should be a 16 person tournament full of random NPCs with randomized, but good, teams. The first time you play the tournament sees the participants being story-based, where you face your rival in the semi-finals and possibly the main antagonist in the finals. Winning the tournament doesn't make you champion, however. It gives you a shot at the championship. You face the reigning champion, and if you win, you're the new champion.

You can start a new tournament whenever you want. Unlike other games, it will actually remember that you are champion, and you don't participate in the actual tournament. You get to see the combatants and their Pokemon, and you can choose to watch the battles as well. Then they fight you. If you win, you're still champ. If you lose, you lose your title and you can enter the tournament again. Rinse and repeat.

Elite Four can be a separate feature.
