So, if you don't mind me rambling about Pokémas a bit! Allister is normally meant to be used as a pretty "vanilla" Ghost dps. There have been better options released after him but I still use him because I love him. However, due to the weird Dynamax mechanics the game was trying to foist on Galar characters back then, Allister also has Drain Punch as a "coverage" move, which can turn into a Fighting Max Move. With Kieran being designed to be a Fighting dps enabler, with atk + crit buffs he can use on himself or an ally (pun not intended), Allister can theoretically turn into a competent physical Fighting dps with a Max Move nuke. To complete a team exclusively composed of cute onion boys, Alli's Halloween alt can be the tank. Of course, with Kiki also being a pretty good debuffer, the team can focus on Ghost damage instead.
