Scalpers are the reason shelves are empty. I also play yugioh, and I've seen popular sets sell out many a time, but it usually takes days, and even when it doesn't there are still older packs, repack shit, structure decks ect.
Be honest; have you EVER seen a friend or family, hell, even a stranger, grab as much shit as he can carry/afford/fit in his car? Cuz I havent. I've literally never seen anything even remotely like this before.
