Pegged best bird as a bro the instant I saw Fletchling. Talonflame was revealed a bit later, and the flaming-arrow falcon had me hooked. I hoped he would be at least somewhat useful, closer to the Staraptor side of the bird spectrum than the Unfezant end. Maybe he could have a neat ability or a useful niche. I got more than I could've ever bargained for with Gale Wings. Still love the thing, mon of choice, and the "ace in the hole" cleanup/revenge play style suits me well. The whole evolutionary line is awesome, they've got a lot more character than most of the other birds. Call my bro Smogonbird all you like, I'm still taking a Fletchling egg to Hoenn for some new adventures
